My name is Cindy Young. I am a Senior Visual Designer with 10 years of work experience, and a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from San Diego State University.

I am highly curious and love finding solutions to unique problems, naturally this led me to the world of Branding. I am passionate about creating and transforming authentic brand identities through visual storytelling.

Growing up in San Ysidro, California (a border town south of San Diego) as a Mexican American, I was surrounded by a community rich in culture which aided me in my quest to create vibrant and expressive design work.

During my career I’ve assisted in developing Brand Identities for over 60+ clients, transforming their branding to coincide with their new brand strategy, and ultimately connecting them with their ideal target audiences. My role as Creative Director involved collaborating with clients closely in bringing their vision to life. This involved conceptualizing ideas, creating brand identity systems, style guides, applying newly developed systems to be applied in various digital marketing and print marketing experiences.

I enjoy collaborative environments that allow me to brainstorm/conceptualize ideas with other fellow designers, and clients. I find purpose in being a visual storyteller and bringing simplicity and a little whimsy into complex concepts.

When not designing — I enjoy going out for walks, illustrating, reading, binge-watching tv series, listening to true crime podcasts, and taking on new hobbies such as pottery, embroidery, candle-making, flower arranging anything that involves me exercising a new way to create something beautiful.

  • Impactful and engaging illustrations can attract the right audience. Creating illustrations is my first passion, I feel that through illustrations you can create a visual language that is both beautiful but also a powerful tool for communication and storytelling.

  • Transforming your brand into a reality. I specialize in adapting your brand into creating user-friendly and visually appealing websites. I have the ability to create mobile-friendly, on-brand, and easy to navigate websites.

  • Lets capture the right attention while boosting your conversions. My expertise lies in crafting visually appealing and persuasive designs that resonate with target audiences and drive results. This stems from my experience of working with a variety of businesses from start-ups, small businesses, to mid-size corporations. These assets vary from: presentation templates, email/newsletter design, brochures, booklets, workbooks, lead magnets, digital resources, infographics, and website banners.
